Car Insurance Companies Deny and Delay Claims to Maximize Profit

The insurance industry has average profits of $30 billion per year, and have rewarded employees who deny claims, fire those who do not, and have engaged in outright fraud when all else failed according to a study published by the American Association for Justice (click here to see the full study). Dealing with insurance adjusters can be difficult at best, but when the Insurance Company encourages bad conduct, it's no wonder it is so frustrating. Can you believe what you are told by them? Maybe sometime, but what? Hard to say.

Car collisions are the most common cause of traumatic injury in our society. Recognizing this, most states require all vehicles to have insurance so that if someone is injured, there is a way for them to be compensated (and not become a burden on taxpayers).  Insurance companies are able to make generous profits and pay their CEOs hundreds of millions of dollars.  Do they really need to deny and delay paying legitimate claims so they can make some extra money? Do they need to force people with legitimate claims to file lawsuits and go all the way to trial? Is their no end to their greed?
