The Best Possible Choice in a Law Firm

They made my life easier.

My case was won because my attorney kept fighting.

I could not ask for a better experience.

I didn't have a big case, but it didn't make any difference in how I was treated.

Woman Faces Charges in Fatal Tennessee Car Accident

Posted on Jun 08, 2009

The woman who was involved in a fatal three-car accident at the end of May near the Roane-Cumberland county line, now faces charges.

According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, the fatal car crash occurred at approximately 2:40 PM on U.S. Highway 70 near Glen Hill Road.  Nicole L. Lawson, a 37-year-old Rockwood resident, was traveling east when her Toyota pickup truck crossed the center line and struck a westbound Chevrolet truck head-on, according to Trooper Rodney Redmon.

The Tennessee car accident took the life of 59-year-old Gary L. Pugh from Crossville and injured Lawson.  She was taken to the University of Tennessee Medical Center where she was listed as being in critical condition.  Neither of the drivers were wearing their seat belts at the time of the crash.

Demond and Barbara Reed, both 37 and from Rockwood, were also injured when they ran their GMC pickup truck off the road to avoid the accident.  Both Reeds were wearing their seat belts.

The fatal Tennessee car crash caused traffic on U.S. 70 for hours until the road was reopened that evening.
