American Trucking Association Proposes 18 point Safety Agenda

The American Trucking Association has announced an 18 point safety agenda and will hold a news conference in Washington D.C. on June 9 to explain how their program will address driver performance, safer vehicles and equipment, and motor carrier performance. Their 18 point agenda includes items such as additional parking facilities for trucks, strategies to increase seat belt use, and a national registry of certified medical examiners.
