Am I entitled to something if my injury has resulted in a permanent loss or restriction?

A: Yes. Most workers’ compensation injuries do not cause total disability, but may limit a worker’s future earnings.  Someone who has been injured may experience long-term, permanent restrictions involving their strength, endurance, or capacity for work. This is called "permanent partial disability". As an injured worker, you are entitled to compensation for any permanent impairment, even though you may have returned to your regular job at the same (or even better) pay. The payment for a permanent restriction or loss is in addition to the temporary benefits you have received while recovering from your injury.
